The Parents’ Association of the European School Karlsruhe is pleased to invite families from the European Schools community to an online information evening dedicated to “Dys” disorders and specific learning difficulties, led by Dr Michèle Mazeau, a recognised specialist in cognitive development disorders in children.
Understanding Dys Disorders and Supporting Children
With the right support, Dys disorders are no barrier to success.
With adapted tools, appropriate educational support and an understanding environment, children and adults with Dys disorders can develop their strengths, creativity and resilience.
During this information evening, Dr Michèle Mazeau will explore how Dys disorders can affect children both at school and at home, from identifying and differentiating specific learning difficulties to considering inclusive adaptations and compensatory measures within the school environment.
She will also provide practical guidance on how families can support their children in their daily lives, help them develop their potential and accompany them in building their future.
