Interclass & Footfest

Interclass

Documents and general information

Registration for the tournaments is open until 25 October 2026 at 11:59 pm inclusive. Matches will start after the All Saints’ (Toussaint) break. The schedule will be communicated later, after the registration period has ended.

Two tournaments are organised this year, depending on the pupils’ age:

Tournament Levels
Interclasses — Mini P2 – P3
Interclasses — Junior P4 – P5
Interclasses — Senior S1 – S2
Footfest — Junior S3 – S4
Footfest — Senior S5 – S6 – S7

Interclasses Tournament

The Interclasses tournament is a festive event played as a variant of football. It is open to pupils from P2 to S2, divided into three categories:

  • Mini: P2 and P3
  • Junior: P4 and P5
  • Senior: S1 and S2

Requirements

The Mini (P2-P3) category will only be organised if at least 3 teams register. A pupil may only belong to one team for the whole duration of the tournament (qualification rounds and final phase) and may not play in a category other than their own. The official squad, submitted at registration, cannot be changed, except for a seriously injured player (medical certificate) and with the approval of the organising committee.

Team composition

Each team appoints a captain, who is responsible for communication. A team may register a maximum of 14 players. On the pitch, each team has a maximum of 7 players, including a goalkeeper, and at least one girl for the whole duration of the match. To start a match, each team must field at least 6 players (including a girl). If a team is reduced to fewer than 5 players, the match is stopped.

Schedule and travel

Matches take place exclusively at the Woluwe site. Kick-off is at 2:45 pm and each match lasts one hour. Travel, as well as supervision before and during the matches, is entirely the parents’ responsibility: the APEEE organises neither supervision nor transfers, including for children enrolled at Evere. Occasional supervision (€15/day) is available at Woluwe, after the match only.

Parent supervision of teams

At least one parent must be present to supervise each team. All supervising parents must be registered no later than the day before by the responsible parent, by email to interclasses-footfest@woluweparents.org. The list submitted is final: no last-minute additions will be tolerated. Supervising parents look after all the children on the team from the end of the school day until the end of the match, and must be present outside the team’s changing room before and after the match. A team without a supervising parent forfeits the match.

Registration

ONLY registrations made through the official form are accepted: Interclasses & Footfest 2026-2027 registration form. Registration must be made by the parent of each team’s captain.

Price

Registration for the tournament costs €30 per child, invoiced to the parents. Invoices are sent after the tournaments have started.

Footfest Tournament

Requirements

Matches are played in two groups: – Secondary 3 and 4 – Footfest Junior (10 teams) – Secondary 5, 6 and 7 – Footfest Senior (15 teams)

The number of teams is limited to allow greater flexibility for postponed matches. Once the quota is reached, further registrations will no longer be taken into account. Once submitted via the form, the team’s composition cannot be changed, except for medical reasons. A pupil may not play in an older or younger group than their own, nor switch teams during the tournament.

Team selection criteria

Each team chooses a captain, who is responsible for communication. A team has a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 15 players, with at least 3 girls. It takes the name of a European Union member country, corresponding to the most represented language section in the team. At least one parent must supervise each team; supervising parents are registered no later than the day before, by email to interclasses-footfest@woluweparents.org (final list, no last-minute additions), and look after all the children on the team from the end of the school day until the end of the match.

Registration

ONLY registrations made through the official form are accepted, until 25 October 2026 at 11:59 pm. Registration must be made by the parent of the captain.

Price

Registration costs €30 per child, invoiced to the parents after the tournament has started.

Responsibilities

For insurance reasons, players are not allowed to remain in the school buildings without adult supervision. A parent must therefore supervise the team from the end of the school day until the end of the matches.

Fair play

Players and spectators behave with courtesy and fair play, in moments of joy or defeat.

Communication

The match schedule is available on woluweparents.org and regularly updated. The captain is contacted directly in the event of a cancellation or postponement and informs their team.
