The Parents’ Association of the European School Karlsruhe is pleased to invite families from the European Schools community to an online information evening dedicated to “Dys” disorders and specific learning difficulties, led by Dr Michèle Mazeau, a recognised specialist in cognitive development disorders in children.

Families in Karlsruhe are also invited to attend a dedicated “Dys” evening, providing an opportunity to watch the online presentation together and continue the conversation afterwards.

About Dr Michèle Mazeau
Dr Michèle Mazeau specialises in cognitive development disorders in children, particularly Dys disorders and specific learning difficulties.
Her work addresses the identification and understanding of these disorders as well as the adaptations and compensatory measures that can help children participate fully in their education. During the session, she will offer families insights and practical approaches to better understand, guide and support their children.

The event is organised by the SEN (Special Educational Needs) team of the Parents’ Association at the European School Karlsruhe.
The Karlsruhe SEN team also welcomes suggestions for future topics and experts who might be interested in contributing to similar initiatives. Suggestions can be sent directly to the team by email.
An opportunity for parents to better understand Dys disorders, discover practical ways to support their children and explore how the right adaptations can help turn challenges into opportunities.
